Welcome to Cyber Security Special Interest Group

The Cyber Security Special Interest Group (CySSIG) aims to bring together experts in the field of cyber security with those tasked with the protection of critical infrastructure in a post-COVID world where there are more calls for remote operations and cross-network cooperation with vendors, suppliers and information service providers.

The group will organise focussed webinars and events on key areas of Cyber Security including: AI , Zero Trust Models for CS, Transport CS , Manufacturing CS, etc.

The group's inaugural event was a webinar entitled "Optimising Cyber Resilience in the Energy Sector". We were delighted to have presentations from Eric Byres of aDolus Technology, Andrew Dennant HIMA Middle East, Simon Heath of 3W Networks and David Brown of Verve Industrial.

The group's second event was a webinar entitled "Revisiting Cyber Resilience in the shadow of PIPEDREAM" that revised key themes especially considering the recent Pipedream attacks. Emminent speakers including Eric Byres of aDolus Technology, Andrew Dennant and Thomas Königstein of HIMA Middle East, Gopal Krishnan of 3W Networks and Adnan Alawneh of Verve Industrial.
